Trainer Trends Part 3 of 4

Amazing we are at part 3 of trainer trends already.

If you missed the other two parts you can catch up here:

A little while ago I added 12 trend systems into the “Done for You” members area.

The Flat season starts on the 28th March with the “betway Lincoln” at Doncaster.

The first month of the new season is always interesting because the question is always…

Will trainers and Jockeys that performed well last year start this season off the same?

You have to choose whether to be cautious and wait to see what happens.

That means reducing stakes or not staking at all .

Or of course not the above!

Some of the 12 trend systems i added to TJ Profit finder “Done for you” service are based around the flat.

Here is an example.

This trend is based around trainers running in handicap races.

2013 was a very up and down year but 2014 kicked off amazingly from day 1 and continued until the end.

The drop off at the end of 2014 was probably because there were very few races in November.

The first thing I tend to check is the Strike Rate.

We know it should be around 14% in this case and although we won’t be able to tell immediately if this has changed…

…It is important that we monitor it constantly.

It’s of course not just about strike rate because average winning prices are important as well.

And we should monitor both…
…But if strike rate drops off we can check the individual trainers in the group and see if any should be removed from the group.

In the final part of this series I will give you the names (and results) of a couple of Trainers that should be worth watching.

Thanks
Malcolm

P.S. If you are interested I put together 3 sets of Trainers, Jockeys and Trainer/Jockey pairs.

I started off as I showed you in yesterday’s video and then gradually came up with the top 5 in each category.

Online Betting is not appropriate for everyone. There is a substantial risk of loss associated with betting. Losses can and will occur. No system or methodology has ever been developed that can guarantee profits or ensure freedom from losses. No representation or implication is being made that using the information on this website will generate profits or ensure freedom from losses. Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular betting program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical betting does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical betting record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual betting. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular betting program in spite of betting losses are material points which can also adversely affect betting results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific betting program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual betting results.

HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL BETTING. ALSO, SINCE THE BETS HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER-OR-OVER COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED BETTING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFIT OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN
